The PINES remix of ‘Afterglow’ takes the song-writing and lyricism of Tailor and Lizzy Land to a place of euphoria and emotion. Having worked with Tailor on a soon to be released PINES original, the remix features a huge kick-heavy drum track, gliding bass and piano chords that smoulder during the verses before building to a uplifting, shimmering chorus that sparkles with pitched vocal chops, and synths. The release during the chorus serves as the perfect emotive highpoint before a lush, reflective outro of strings and bells.

Afterglow is about being in the moment with someone, but with the bittersweet feeling that comes with knowing it might all end. You want to re-assure them that you’ll still be there after the party stops, but can’t really know for sure… so you stay with it for as long as you can.
